“We work to develop spaces that are efficient in the use of materials, energy, and water.  We encourage the use of existing and recycled materials to create a sense of delight at the differences in combination with new ones.

At its core is an understanding that architecture goes beyond shelter and the aesthetic. It shapes the lives of those who inhabit it. Buildings do not stand in isolation. They play a role in engaging with the community, the built and natural surroundings, and the climate in which they stand.”

ptmaARCHITECTURE

ptmaARCHITECTURE is a collaboration between Architects Peter McArdle and Teresa Wuersching.

With a combined 50 years of experience in the industry (ouch, how did that happen?), ptma is focused on developing a stronger connection between a building and its location and climate for their clients. Their passion is to promote good design through a focus on sustainability.

ptma believes in an architecture that encourages participation beyond the built form. To engage with the spaces between and around buildings and beyond to the communities we are part of.
